The log siding boards are attached individually one row at a time working from the bottom up.
A tape measure circular or miter saw a chalk line a square and a hammer.
Start at the bottom and work your way up the wall.
Make sure you have the j channel behind the start and the j channel is flush with the top of the door or window.

Furring strips may also be needed in some cases to flush out an end wall and provide a flat surface to install on.

You will need to install j channel for around all your windows and doors before starting your siding it will make the installation of the steel siding much easier.
These trims are cut and installed prior to the log siding application.
Use a transparent or matching caulking around them.
Modulog siding must be fastened through the face of the log at the top and bottom of each piece.
V notch corner logs or corner trim should be installed before installing the siding too.
