Secure the downspout outlet to the gutter with four pop rivets or screws. Connect the end cap s to the gutter using silicone sealant and screws. Working from the outlet towards the highest point fit the first length of gutter by tilting it so that it sits beneath the back clip then push down at the front to snap it into position. Hold the cap in place and insert a single sheet metal screw into its hole.

Use needlenosed pliers to slightly crimp the elbow to fit into the downspout as shown. Start by drilling a 1 8 in. Lengths of gutter with factory installed outlet fittings. Rivet the sections join the gutter to the corner with six rivets in the locations shown.

Rivets at the front of the gutter and installing the first rivet with the rivet gun. Watch and learn how and stop. While this temporarily holds the cap in place drill another 1 8 inch 0 32 cm diameter hole and attach a pop rivet into it. Use the flange to mark the screwhole locations and bore 1 8 in holes through the gutter.

As an alternative to installing the outlet fittings you can buy 12 in. Finally insert the filling into the hole and fasten it with short screws. Screw a downspout elbow to the outlet tube protruding down from the gutter. Now drill the remaining holes and install the rivets.
