Lay 2 truss pieces in the jig and secure to the floor with 3 inch screws.
How to make a roof truss jig.
Use a speed square to mark the angles.
A circular saw jig was made to make the repetitive 22 5 degree cuts at the right length each time.
Attach the osb webbing to each joint.
You can use nails or screws and add construction adhesive for a strong joint.
All joints are reinforced with plywood plates on both sides.
Once everything is in place get some scrap pieces of 2 4 and place each one along the framed truss to make an outline.
This will allow you to just place the next pieces of wood in the exact same place as the first allowing the assembly of the next truss to be easier.
Then flip it over and press it firmly into place over a joint between two truss beams.
Here is how i built 13 roof trusses for my shed.
The span is 126 four 2x4 s are connected with 14 x 6 screws.
Once in the proper place screw them into the floor making a frame or jig.

Remove the screws holding the rafter pieces flip the truss over and attach the osb webbing to the other side of the joints.
Insert construction screws every 2 3 inches 5 1 7 6 cm through the holes in the face of the plate and use an electric drill drive the screws deep into the wood.
Put the ends of two truss pieces into the jig and press everything together.
Drill a pilot hole in one of the pointy ends of every other truss piece so you can toe nail them together at the top joint.
