The last step after the bodywork is the polyester primer. Sanding the repair smooth and then using a body filler and high build primer to finish it. Add catalyst or hardener and mix the resin as instructed. Scuff the entire area removing any loose.

I then used the templates to trace out the patch panels on some sheet metal. Then place a piece of fiberglass cloth onto the damaged spot and saturate it with the mixed resin. After slicing the patches out with a cutoff wheel next came the bending hammer and dolly session until the patches matched the holes and fit snug and flush into the flanged seat.
