If your motorhome has a fibreglass roof and there are rips or tears in it you ll need to patch it up with fibreglass repair tape.
Spread the sealer all over the area that needs a patch lay a piece of fiber glass tape over the patch cover it with more sealer.
Rv rubber roof repair typically involves replacing the rubber membrane sub roof and sealant.
Remove all rooftop objects air conditioning units antennas vents etc remove the rubber roof membrane and old sealant remove and replace the luan sheeting used in the sub roof.
Cut away all old caulking at the metal vent flange edge avoiding cutting into the rubber roof.
It s important to note though that not all roofs are outfitted with the same rv roofing material.
