In the earlier posts there was a reference to a black knob that you tightened to hold the awning at whatever tilt level you desired.
How to tilt a power awning.
For standard awnings only.
Some have electronic motors that will allow you to adjust the awning automatically with the push of a button.
If the rail needs to move to the right remove the right screw and pull the awning right.
In this event just place the crank into the socket and begin to spin it until the awning is the right size.
Dometic will provide you with a free retrofit arm to enable the awning to be tilted.
Step 2 push the locking lever into the roll up position.
If you have a standard awning with spring loaded arms start by lowering both sides of the awning.
Others might require you to use a hand crank extended device.
Then loosen the black rafter knobs and slide the inner arms back toward the rv until they lock into place.
